Windjammer is equipped with a full suite of configuration and test tools available through the RS-232 port. This port can be connected to any VT100/VT220 compatible terminal or to a serial port on a computer emulating VT100/VT220. All of the configuration and test capabilities are fully supported on-line, requiring no downtime for system administration. The on-line services also include a Statistical Monitor that can run on any VT100 compatible terminal. The Statistical Monitor graphically outlines general system performance parameters such as read requests, write requests, IO per second, cache hit rates, etc...
